MECD Workplace Design
The University of Manchester appointed us to design and deliver three workplace pilots over a year long period in order to inform the workplace design for their 86,000m2 new Engineering Campus.
Test pilots
Roughly 200 people from a cross section of disciplines occupied converted portacabins over three semesters. Their feedback helped determine the make-up of the office areas for academics, postgraduate students and professional services staff in the new building.
Achieving a contemporary and flexible environment for the diverse needs of University staff was a challenge well met.
