Small Woods

Small Woods are a nationwide association for the preservation, protection and promotion of UK woodlands. We partnered with them to refresh their brand identity, in order to unify the association and appeal to a new audience.

We’ve tackled the challenge of defining Small Wood’s new brand narrative - one which reflected their mission to bring people and woodlands closer together. In an industry with some notable competitors, they wished to add credibility to their identity without losing the people-focused ethos which chimed so strongly with them. Evolution, rather than revolution, guided us to an outcome that was thoroughly, and warmly endorsed by staff during consultation sessions. To support the roll-out we’ve designed a simple online brand-hub which contains a versatile assortment of ingredients ready for design teams to use - enabling the new identity to flourish.

As well as a traditional set of brand identity guidelines we also produced an online brand hub - home to all design assets and single click access to the values and ethos of the association.
