DfE Cheylesmore House

Tired and worn facilities in these two adjoining Coventry buildings were in desperate need of a refresh. We developed a bright and vibrant new scheme, designed to actively encourage the Department for Education’s continued appetite for new ways of working.

Having established a great relationship with the DfE, they trusted us to radically update - with both buildings refurbished from top to bottom. Interior space was maximised through fully refreshed offices with new collaboration zones, breakout spaces in the atrium balconies, a social event space and additional workplaces at the base of the atrium. The main reception now offers a welcoming space to greet visitors and staff alike. The restaurant was transformed into a relaxing place to eat, whilst still offering lots of places to work and meet after the busy hours. This once-tired environment now has a new lease of life.
